That's certainly True. Anyway, here is an extremely short note on Space through Entanglement.
Well...., why does the Universe expands? And what about Space? Is it then "elastic"? (No, not at all likely).
Does it "grow" or something?? (No, not really in that sense).
One serious idea is that the metric changes. You might see the metric, as an entity which describes
(among other things) the possible "curvature", geometry, and distance, between independent points.
See it this way: if Space would slowly bend more, or even bend less, then the distance
between points might change also (getting lower or larger). So, that might give rise to the notion
that space expands. (You might view as an analogy, an iron rod you can bend... Then, in 3D space,
distances between points on the rod change).
An other facinating idea was formulated by M. Van Raamsdonk in the article "Building up spacetime
with quantum entanglement" (2010). You can easily find that article on Arxiv.
As I understand it, Space emerges through (sort of correlations=entanglements) between Quantum bits.
Usually, you may see the Quantum bits as (any) Quantum Systems.
It seems that Van Raamsdonk showed in his article, that changing the entanglement in quantum theory
of a Quantum system, changes the geometry of the spacetime. That's really something !!
A well known analogy goes as follows:
Imagine countless of people holding ropes, not attached to anything at all.
The people are not standing on a floor. Actually, they are "nowhere" (no metric/geometry at all).
Instead, wherever ropes connect people, those people become "identifyable in a metric."
If all the ropes connect everyone in an organized way, a giant network appears, with a geometry and metric.
The network wasn't there before. It emerged from the connections.
Van Raamsdonk suggests spacetime may work similarly.
The "ropes" are quantum entanglement. The "network" is space itself.
The amazing thing is: "Geometry is encoded by entanglement."
So, in entanglement experiments with two correlated particles, at a large distance,
the "spooky action" of Einstein might be explained "by a very short rope in the network".
Let's try a (sort of) mathematical representation... (not ready yet).
Although since 2006 (orso) a flood of articles appeared (and thus research was done), a fundamental
cornerstone appeared from Ryu and Takayanagi, where the authors link "entanglement"
from a holographic perspective on entropy, from (in relation to) AdS/CFT (article in 2006).
Note: This extremely small text, ofcourse, does not deal with AdS/CFT and related theories.
It's just a few words on entanglement and SpaceTime.
One feature of this cornerstone, was that it related an area "A" around a bulk space inside,
to a feature called Entropy "S", on "A". Here is a relation which illustrates that:
Indeed, One key element in Physics is "Entropy". Ofcourse, entropy=entropy, but from different area's
in Physics, the interpretation might vary somewhat.
"Entropy" (S) is often interpreted as a measure of the number of microstates that "sits"
behind a particular macrostate.
Many folks also interpret this as a measure of "information". The remarkable thing about the
upper formula is, that this Quantum entropy, due to entanglement, seems to be proportional to the Surface Area "A",
in which "A" is related to the Bulk Space, associated with "A" (!).
Ofcourse, this not a proof at all. Just an illustration...

Well...., if Quantum entanglement universally "drops away" then so does Space dissolve into "Nothing"...
Not meaning "vacuum", but really absolute... Nothing...
Then.., the SuperUltra creature can begin a new simulation....
